Coffee Festival Fun!
Coffee here, coffee there, coffee coffee everywhere at the San Francisco Coffee Festival in Fort Mason Festival Pavilion on Saturday Nov 8. One of Raquel’s favorites was the “Shaggy” from Bad Baristas, which made her eyes open wide with all the caffeine and sugar combo of an espresso, lavender, wild honey, and matcha cold foam (but avoid the “Grogu & Frog Eggs” – yuck)!

This is Raquel next to one of her favorite coffee roasters, Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters, from Sacramento that served more traditional lattes.

There were so many coffee options – drip coffee, pour over, espresso, Vietnamese, banana foam, lychee bloom, UC Davis roasted . . .

But don’t be so quick to judge a book by its cover: many of the stalls had no coffee at all! After all the caffeine, Raquel was especially grateful for the cleansing ginger and turmeric tonics.

One of the coolest non-coffee options was the corn milk, which frothed up really nicely and had a hint of sweetness and a light creaminess (Raquel was a fan!)

One of Ben’s favorites was getting the Graffeo coffee (our favorite local North Beach roaster) dispensed into a cup from a fueling pump
The latte art contest was a fun ending to the event.

Check out all the cups of coffee that everyone drank – very impressive (and kind of nauseating for Raquel)!
